MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING/MEETING OF THE TOWN OF ST. FRANCISVILLE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN, ST. FRANCISVILLE, LA, TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2013, 5:30 P. M.

The Town of St. Francisville Board of Aldermen met in regular session this 26th day of March, 2013 at 11936 Ferdinand St., Town Hall, St. Francisville, LA.  The meeting was called to order at 5:50 p. m. with the following members present:  Mayor William D’Aquilla, James R. Leake, James Davis, and Oscar Robertson, Jr.
 
Absent: Aldermen Robert P. Leake, Abby T. Cochran and Town Attorney Jesse L. Means

The Pledge was led by James Davis.  
                   .
On motion by James Davis, and seconded by James R. Leake, the minutes of March 12, 2013 were approved as presented.  All in favor, motion carried.
 
Radio Tower update carried to April 9, 2013 meeting.

PEC Update:
LGAP Grant Projects

Received Payment Request from Industrial Enterprises in the amount of $76,186.80.
PEC will prepare request for reimbursement from LGAP and CWEF.
Per LGAP, Town has an additional $35,000 to use towards more water improvements or other projects.

Sidewalk Project
PEC prepared final closeout report for HUD

Mayor’s Report:
Mayor D’Aquilla updated the Board on drainage project in Audubon Hills.  Three bids were accepted with Norsworthy winning bid.  Five fire hydrants were replaced in Town. The Town has an air compressor for sale.  Bids will be accepted with a price of $1,000.00 and the ad to run two weeks.  Donald Stephens earned his certification for backflow prevention tester. Congratulations Donald.  Mayor D’Aquilla invited the board to lunch Thursday.
 
Police Report:
No report, Chief Scott Ford is on vacation.
 
Main Street Report:
Laurie Walsh gave an update on the filming of Bonnie and Clyde and thanked Tommy Robinson and the fire crew for the speedy response to the fire alarm in the court house.
 
Motion by James Davis seconded by James R. Leake, to adjourn the meeting at 6:25 p.m. Motion carried.
