MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN OF ST. FRANCISVILLE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN, ST. FRANCISVILLE, LA, TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2018 at 5:00 P. M.

The Town of St. Francisville Board of Aldermen met in regular session this 6th day of March, 2018 at 11936 Ferdinand St., Town Hall, St. Francisville, LA. The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. with the following members present: Mayor William H. D’Aquilla, Aldermen James R. Leake, Alderman Abby T. Cochran, Alderman Gigi Robertson, Alderman Susanne “Susie” Tully and Alderman Joseph “Bryan” Kelley. Also present, Assistant Town Attorney Leslie Daniel, Main Street Manager Laurie Walsh and Town Clerk, Shannon Sturgeon.

Absent: Town Attorney Jesse Means and Police Chief Scott Ford

Prayer led by Alderman Gigi Robertson.

The pledge was led by James R. Leake.

PUBLIC MEETING

Open Special Public Meeting.

Open Floor for Public Comment
Mayor D’Aquilla opened the floor for any public comments before commencing with the new business.

1. Executive Session to Discuss Legal Options Regarding Courthouse Window Replacement Issue
Motion made by Abby T. Cochran, seconded by Susie Tully to enter executive session to discuss legal options regarding courthouse window replacement issue. All in favor, none opposed. Motion carried. Executive Session was entered at 5:08 p.m.

Executive Session was exited at 5:24 p.m.

2. And/Or Take Action as Deemed Necessary
Motion made by Susie Tully, seconded by Abby T. Cochran to authorize Assistant Town Attorney Leslie Daniel to file an appeal on the preliminary injunction ruling Town of St. Francisville vs West Feliciana Parish Government. All in favor, none opposed. Motion carried.

Adjournment
Motion by Abby T. Cochran, seconded by Bryan Kelly to adjourn the meeting at 5:26 p.m. All in favor, none opposed. Motion carried.
