ORDINANCE NO. 2017-7
The following ordinance was offered by James R. Leake and seconded by Bryan Kelley.
An ordinance vacating, revoking and setting aside the dedication to public use of a portion of Johnson Street in the Town of St. Francisville:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of St. Francisville, Louisiana, in regular session convened:
The dedication as a public street of that portion of Johnson Street upon which is situated the structure or building housing, now or formerly, the newspaper and publishing business known as “The St. Francisville Democrat” (being described in greater detail on the plat of survey by Wallace J. Hargrave, RLS, a copy of which survey is annexed to and made a part of Original Document No. 13867 and recorded in COB 65 page 311 of the Conveyance Records of West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana) is hereby abandoned, revoked, and set aside in favor of the owner or owners of said structure at the time this ordinance becomes effective. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately.
Upon being submitted to a vote, the vote on the foregoing ordinance was:

ABSENT: Gigi Robertson
and the ordinance was declared adopted
